The Atmos Rewards Business Card is the business card in the Atmos lineup.

The Alaska and Hawaiian loyalty program Atmos Rewards is the oneworld alliance where points can be used across their partners, including those in the Oneworld partnership. A few of the redemption rates to fly with partners is outstanding, such as business-class flights to Asia for as little as 75,000 points one-way.

This card requires an annual fee of $95 ($70 for the company and $25 per credit) – which TPG recommends with a credit score of at least 740 to get approved, including this.

With the Atmos Rewards Business Card, you can earn 70,000 bonus points and $99 Companion Fare (plus taxes and fees from $23) after spending $4,000 on purchases in the first 90 days of opening your account.

This is a good deal for saving dozens of dollars by maximising the Companion Fare part of the introductory offer. The cost of is $99 (plus taxes and fees) for a friend who is booked on the same round-trip economy flight as you’re paying.

A good Atmos Rewards Business Card includes all the standard amenities you’d expect from a cobranded airline card and some extra benefits — everything for an affordable $95 annual fee (for your company, $25 per card)).

Upon paying your flight with the card, you and up to six guests on the same reservation will receive a free checked bag for Alaska and Hawaiian flights. That saves at least $60 a person per person for each round-trip domestic flight.

You’ll also enjoy preferred boarding when using this card to pay for your flight.

You’ll also get 20% off Alaska and Hawaiian inflight purchases (including food, beverages and Wi-Fi) and $100 off one Alaska Lounge+ membership every year.

Why does this card shine, if not the Companion Fare? For example, you get one as part of the current welcome bonus and another every year after spending $6,000 or more on purchases during your anniversary year.

A guest can take a coach fare with the Companion Fare for just $99 plus taxes and fees (from $23). Although it doesn’t require the cardholder to be one of those travelers, they have to pay for the flights with their Atmos Rewards card.

If you have Atmos Rewards elite status, both passengers will earn At Mos Rewards points for the flight and are eligible for upgrades.

Additionally, cardholders will earn 1 status point for every $3 spent on purchases, with no cap.

If you travel internationally, it’ll come in handy that this card charges no foreign transaction fees.

Earning points on the Atmos Rewards Business card

With the Atmos Rewards Business, you’ll earn:

  • 3 points per dollar spent on eligible Alaska and Hawaiian Airlines purchases
  • 2 points per dollar at electric vehicle charging and gas stations, on local transit (including ride-hailing services) and shipping purchases.
  • 1 point per dollar on all other eligible purchases

Redeeming points on the Atmos Rewards Business card

Most Alaska and Hawaiian flights pay between 4,500 and 17,50 points each way in economy, according to . Despite the good value of redemptions for domestic flights, while it is worth paying premium international flights with partners, there’s no higher price than that.

From the U.S., you can fly from Cathay Pacific with a cathaypact called Cat Hay Pacific. s S For a stopover in Hong Kong, you can add ‘free stop overs to Asia for just 75,000 points each way’ (see “At the time of business class”).

And there are also plenty of Atmos Rewards points for booking the hardest awards to be found premium cabin flights to Australia or New Zealand. If you’re flying nonstop on American Airlines or Qantas, and with another partner in Asia, you can fly through Asia.

Fiji Airways business class from 75,000 miles one-way to Oceania could even be booked by you and provide a free stopover in FJI.

I want to collect Atmos Rewards points, which is my favorite airline currency to pick up atmos. I just got 70,000 points (including $18 taxes) for a one-way flight from Los Angeles to Madrid in business class, and recently earned 60,000 points.

Which cards compete with the Atmos Rewards Business card?

For travel cards not specifically to Alaska-Hawaiian that help you spend more money on business, there are some good options.

Is the Atmos Rewards Business card worth it?

It’s a card that makes sense when you fly very much with Alaska or Hawaiian and can use their loyalty program. That’s an easy-to-promote card for most people to justify long-term, though it is only if you use the Companion Fare every year.
