Initially, it’s obvious that the AtmosTM Rewards Summit Visa Infinite® Credit Card is the premium card for Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines loyalists.

Despite the surface, look down at this — there’s a lot of rewards for multiple types of travelers to enjoy with this card and the Atmos Rewards program especially if you regularly fly with Oneworld alliance members like American Airlines, British Airways and Qantas.

Take it from me I live in the southeast U.S. S S. I value Atmos Rewards points (about as far away from the Pacific Northwest as you can get), but I’m very much affluent because I can book tickets on American, the airline that most often flys at an excellent value.

Of course, the Pacific Northwest-based Atmos Rewards Summit is a stellar destination for Alaska and Hawaiian flyers and those who live in Hawaii. There’s a lot to love here even if you’re not on that footprint, but it’ll be. **Card rating* ** ()********Care ratings?

Atmos Rewards Summit: The basics

The Atmos Rewards Summit is a cobranded airline card for members of At Mos Rewards, and it’s also known as the Atm Rewards summit. In addition, Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines are implementing the joint loyalty program called Atmos Rewards. This card also earns Atmos Rewards points, which TPG’s March 2026 valuations place at 1-1. 1 cent (one of the highest airline currency valuations) apiece), 5 cent.

The card charges an annual fee of $395.

The Atmos Rewards Summit offers a solid suite of airline-specific benefits when you fly Alaska or Hawaiian, including your first checked bag free and preferred boarding when buying airfare with your card. Cardholders also receive an annual 25,000-point Global Companion Award.

The path to Atmos Rewards elite status is also faster, as cardholders earn 1 status point for every $2 spent (without spending cap) and receive an anniversary status points boost.

A favorite card perks are the Atmos Rewards Summit’s high-end earnings, which is especially impressive compared to other airline cobranded cards. One of the most notable features is that cardholders make 3 points per dollar on foreign transactions, an unusual (and possibly very lucrative) bonus category.

When using the Atmos Rewards points you’ll earn on the card atmos rewards, it is best for flights on Alaska, Hawaiian and Oneworld airlines and other partner airlines. There are several sweet-spot redemption options since Atmos Rewards retained Alaska Airlines’ prestigious partner award chart.

The Atmos Rewards Summit offers a number of advantages when you fly Alaska and Hawaiian, but there are some things to enjoy in other parts of the travel journey as well as at least on benefits.

Airline-specific benefits

These three benefits kick in when you purchase a fare on Alaska or Hawaiian with your Atmos Rewards Summit:

A second 100,000-point Global Companion Award is awarded to high-spenders who put $60,000 or more on their Atmos Rewards Summit. TPG’s valuation of this is worth $1,500 for .

Elite status boost

Although such perks do certainly offset the $395 annual fee at Atmos Rewards Summit, it’s worth noting that this card doesn’t offer full Alaska Lounge membership or multiple statement credits. This may be a downside for cardholders looking to get more benefits on ‘high-end’ cards, so I can think of this as.

However, if you use the Global Companion Award and check one free bag every year, then that is your annual fee.

How to earn and use Atmos Rewards points

Earning points

Atmos Rewards Summit cardholders earn:

• 3 points per dollar spent on Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines purchases
• 3 points per dollar spent on eligible dining purchases and foreign transactions
• 1 point per dollar spent on all other purchases

Cardholders with an eligible Bank of America account also receive a 10% rewards bonus on all points earned from card purchases.

This is a unique card for’very diverse spenders’, as many travelers who frequent international trips will be attracted to the Atmos Rewards Summit’s bonus category that allows them to take all foreign transactions. An airline cobranded card is a standard payment rate for Alaska and Hawaiian purchases.

Redeeming points

Where the Atmos Rewards Summit falls short

It may be a better fit for all travelers to attend the Atmos Rewards Summit, but it’s not necessarily as well-suited. I think you should look at some of the downsides here,’ .

The Alaska and Hawaiian flights only allow for usable benefits (free checked bags, preferred boarding) but also some other advantages; that could be a deterrent if you aren’t flying frequently with these carriers.

• The card does not provide broad lounge access and grants only two Alaska Lounge passes per quarter.
• You have to pay a high annual fee.
• Your rewards are limited to Atmos Rewards points, which have fewer redemption options than transferable credit card rewards.

Atmos Rewards Summit vs. Atmos Rewards Ascent

A person would like to get a Atmos Rewards card but don’t want to pay an annual cost of $395 for premium benefits. Should I go with the AtmTM Rewards Ascent Visa Signature® credit card instead?

The Atmos Rewards Ascent charges a $95 annual fee and offers benefits similar to the Atmo Rewards Summit when flying on Alaska or Hawaiian (free checked bags, preferred boarding) as well as Hawaiian.

Atmos Rewards Ascent cardholders can earn an annual $99 Companion Fare (plus taxes and fees from $23) on each account anniversary after spending $6,000 or more in the prior anniversary year.

This perk is not included on the Atmos Rewards Summit and may be more attractive to some travelers if it’s an atmos-friendly traveler. Nevertheless, I think it’s worth noting that the Atmos Rewards Summit’S 25,000-point Global Companion Award is another similar benefit and costs much more than $375 per TPG valuations.

When to apply for the Atmos Rewards Summit

A new cardholders are currently receiving 80,000 bonus points and a 25,000-point Global Companion Award at the Atmos Rewards Summit after spending $4,000 on purchases in the first 90 days from account opening, which is worth $15,000.

Per TPG’s valuations, this bonus is worth $1,575.

In its history, only two bonuses have been awarded at the Atmos Rewards Summit for . The offer offers 20,000 fewer points than its launch last August deal, but it’s still the right time to apply for this card.

If Bank of America issues this card, then you’ll most likely be subject to the 2/3/4 rule. That’s just a 30-day period for two new Bank of America cards, three in 12 months and four card in 24 months.

Also, TPG employees have also found that Bank of America strongly prefers prospective cardholders to be in a relationship with the bank and is likely to open it (and use an account on checking or savings) for several months before applying.

This is a great value for Alaska and Hawaiian flyers ready to go all-in on their joint loyalty program, which offers the Atmos Rewards Summit. The 25,000-point Global Companion Award, Alaska Lounge passes and high earning rate on foreign transactions are unique benefits for new cardholders to consider.

But if you are more of a casual traveler and don’t chase Atmos Rewards elite status, then it is better to go with its sister card, the mid-tier Atm Rewards Ascent.

The Atmos Rewards points are a unique currency that can unlock redemptions across the Oneworld alliance, in general, so it’s worth checking out at the Atm Rewards Summit regardless of where you’re flying from.
