Within Bilt Rewards you can redeem Bilent Cash for transaction fees on rent and mortgage payments, fitness classes, home delivery orders; hotel bookings, Lyft rides or other expenses.

The most important factor is Bilt Cash, who decides to make the money by imposing transaction charges on rent and mortgage payments. So for prospective cardholders, that’s why it’d be important to make sure they can use this card in many of their everyday purchases.

Most Bilt Cash expires at the end of each calendar year, and $100 in Bilit Cash will be rolled over into the following year.

Transferring Bilt points

The best way to use your Bilt points is leveraging the 23 partner airline and hotel transfer partners of Bilit. Where the Bilt Palladium could fall short

If you earn the Bilt Palladium Card as your everyday spending card, you’ll get the most value from it. This will ensure you either earn enough Bilt Cash to offset transaction charges or spend enough to make at least 1 point per dollar spent through the tiered rewards system.

A new rewards card or even a cash-back card would be better for those who don’t rent and pay. If you aren’t going to take bilt, but have Bilt’s rewards system complicated (or live outside of if you can enjoy many local events and benefits)?

Would be a good candidate to apply for bilt card, but the Bilt Palladium Card isn’t what you want; so are no-annual-fee Bilted Blue Card (see rates and fees) and mid-tier Bilten Obsidian Card(see rate and charges) for $95 yearly. These options offer different earning rates within Bilt Rewards, both of which are worth checking out.

Bilt Palladium Card vs. Bilt Obsidian Card

The mid-tier Bilt Rewards card, which is designed for travelers who want to collect Bilties points across multiple bonus categories, is the Bil T Obsidian Card.

For cardholders who are willing to take advantage of bonus categories, it earns 3 points per dollar spent and 4% Bilt Cash (if you choose Bilent Cash) on your choice of dining or grocery bills (on up to $25,000 in spending per calendar year) and 2 points/dollar spent on travel. That means you’ll make up to 1. A point per dollar spent on housing and 1 point a dollar for all other purchases are 25 points per cent.

The Bilt Palladium Card is a flat 2 points per dollar spent on purchases other than rent and mortgage payments, so if you spend more often on all kinds of things that are buying it, then the sense to pick up this card makes sense.

Is the Bilt Palladium worth it?

If you’re ready to make Bilt the center of your award strategy, then go for the Bilten Palladium Card. Often for many, it will be the ability to earn points on rent and mortgage payments that determines what is most important.

The card makes premium perks easy, plus it does not require memorizing many bonus categories or long list of statement credits.

But if you don’t have the right to focus on the Bilt Palladium Card, you might want to go another way. If you aren’t spending too much on Bilt Palladium to rack up a lot of Bilten Cash or to meet the tiered rewards system’s spending requirements, it’ll be hard to get full benefits from Bilting Rewards (and avoid transaction fees on housing payments)?

Additionally, if you often go on specific types of spending (e.g. food and travel), it may be worth considering another card in the Bilt family such as the Bill Obsidian Card.
