There are a number of points hotels in Buenos Aires, including old favorites such as the Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Argentin Air Es. But the latest points hotel to open in Argentina’s capital is thanks to Marriott’S Tribute Portfolio, a who has recently opened his point hotel.
It officially opened for guests in June 2025 with 142 rooms and suites, including the hotel’s official room-and-room guest list. Although one of the most elegant neighborhoods in Buenos Aires, nightly rates are a relative bargain for luxury hotels in the city.
We just had a chance to stop by, and here’s what you will be seeing when visiting the Recoleta Grand, Buenos Aires, an Tribute Portfolio Hotel.

First impressions
It is a palimpsest of the Recoleta Grand, where several layers of history coexist. This is an updated wing of the hotel, which has been considered as one of those hotels without Marriott affiliations, the 1922 Mansion Mihura and a graceful new glass tower (with ’13-foot indoor waterfall) that sits on the main restaurant’s dining room. Though the three buildings, though disparately slangally related, somehow merge into a single whole that feels right.

While guests still go through the doors of Avenida General Las Heras’ hotel, depending on your room assignment, you may head straight up in the nearby elevators or walk past the skylit cafe at the hotel (past the side of the historic mansion and via the atrium) to another set of elevator – don’t worry; there are also corridors between the two buildings on different floors).

The rooms
A. coherent look The old rooms and the new are under the eye of local interior designer Lucas Gashu, with parquet flooring similar to Recoleta’s grand apartments, colorful geometric wall splashes that give the spaces some texture and in some cases proscenium-like paneling which creates the feeling of a deconstructed four-poster canopy bed to define the sleep area – an apartment complex is designed to be on top of its floor by i.e.

Also, they have 40-inch flat-screen televisions and workdesk-minibar combinations. It includes coffee makers, hot water kettles and a typical collection of snacks/ drinks. Though it’s not too late to be aware of the dreadful closet space, since the hotel has chosen popular open-concept variants.

The rooms feel modern and chic, although the rooms are spare but a bit of. If you can, ask for a room in the new tower because windows are bigger and bathrooms feel more modernized.

Dining
The hotel will eventually be home to several dining and drinking establishments, but during our visit, only two were open.
It is a chic bolt-hole with coffee drinks and Argentina’s national drink, mate, just behind the lobby in. sunken atrium of its own — it has been described as if one can be seen drinking from this light-filled Cafe de Prensa (just behind that lobby) serving dozens of coffee beverages alongside their signature cocktail cocktails called “Motto” or “Sunken Atrium”.

As you settle in to discuss Buenos Aires’ literary legacy or thumb through one of several vinyl albums and art books that are on the dramatic shelves, ask some friends for a cozy seat at an adjacent seating vignette or at the tall marble counter.

The Atrium is a sky-soaring main restaurant, at the heart of the hotel’s main dining room, with its principal restaurant being Atrix. It’s bathed in natural light throughout the day and thanks to abundant plants (and a soon-to-grow living wall) and dozens of indoor waterfalls not including huge, birdcage-like chandeliers — that it is like if its secret garden at the heart of the bustling city.

The hotel will eventually open Rayuela, a swanky restaurant and cocktail lounge in the Mihura Mansion’s mihuran mansion. It was only revealed that we have a few glimpses of the unfinished spaces but they are already stunning with art deco furnishings, dramatic chandeliers and sculptural bars.

In one of the most upscale, central neighborhoods in the city is the Recoleta Grand (the RecOletana grand) and its downtown neighborhood. Uber and taxis are cheap, with rides to major tourist attractions such as the Casa Rosada and the MALBA museum fast and inexpensive. It’s about 10 minutes to walk to the famous Recoleta Cemetery, where Evita is buried. An Uber to Ezeiza International Airport (EZE), which takes about 45-90 minutes depending on traffic, will cost $30-$50.

ERIC ROSEN/THE POINTS GUY
What it costs
Rates at the Recoleta Grand start at $248 or 41,000 Marriott Bonvoy points per night over the next several months.

Bottom line
Buenos Aires’ hotel scene is also very interesting, with the Recoleta Grand, Argentin Air E.g., being a Tribute Collection Hotel (the newer addition to its current-day resort) and The RecOletana GRA, in which it has been named “The Recora Grande”, pictured above), whose name of his own city was added on July 1, 1888 as an exciting addition for this year’s hotels at New York City Airport A Tribite Gallery; another one that will be It is located in Recoleta, which means that it’s within easy reach of many of the city’ll be most attractions and its reasonable nightly rates paid and points – should make this hotel one of best places for international visitors to visit? Once its bars and restaurants are all fully operational, it is all the more so.
