I have a treasured currency from the points and miles ecosystem, including World of Hyatt points. But a recent trip to Morocco (which was on TPG’s Where to Go in 2025 list) for the first of Delta Air Lines’ new flight from Atlanta to Marrakech, World of Hyatt points proved worth it I could book the new Park HATt Marrapech with points rather than paying up to $500 per night.

It’s a better deal right now, as you can buy World of Hyatt points for 20% off. No-brainer That means that I was paying points, and I had to see one of the world’s coolest (and newest) Park Hyatts one TPG has seen since 2024. I spent one of the nights buying points and saved me a little money as well as for one night, which was also my point.

Here’s how I booked it and four reasons why I love the Park Hyatt Marrakech.

Park Hyatt Marrakech

CLINT HENDERSON/THE POINTS GUY

The Park Hyatt Marrakech is a high-budget hotel (especially for Morocco) and it’s worth the price to book World of Hyantt points.

This hotel is a Category 7 World of Hyatt property; the standard award night cost for an average rate of 30,000 points. Rooms can easily get more than $700 a night, so this is an acceptable deal for ; rooms are also well-suited to that.

Park Hyatt $527 a night to $797 per night for an entry-level room. That means that points save you a lot of money. It’s a good deal of award-worthy, though at the most common rate (up to 35,000 points per night) there is also an abundance of awards.

Help The new World of Hyatt award calendar is one tool that can help. A points calendar that shows when award nights are available and when they don’t, is now displayed on your searches. See below for a screenshot of , there are many nights to off-peak rates of 25,000 points per night as you can see in the screenshot below.

I had spent 30,000 World of Hyatt points for one night and another 35,000 points (second night) for my stay.

Had I deposited cash, that night would have been almost $718. TPG bought the points I needed for one night of stay in this case, so that I can write this review. I got World of Hyatt points right now with a 20% bonus. That’s what I did for the time being, there is… For $624 I bought 30,000 World of Hyatt points for just $62.

That’s why I only paid $624 for the points needed to make this booking and not $718 in cash. That saves $94 per cent for . When it comes to buying points, you always do the math so that if it saves you some cash.

But you don’t have to buy World of Hyatt points there are some cool ways to make so many points on booking this property.

A 11 transfer of Chase Ultimate Rewards from World of Hyatt points is also possible. You have signed up to Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card (see rates and fees), which offers a 75,000-point welcome bonus after you spend $5,000 on purchases within the first three months from account opening, so that your points for two nights at this property would be enough just by earning the bonus on the card.

Park Hyatt Marrakech’s villas and rooms are stunning

CLINT HENDERSON/THE POINTS GUY

The Park Suite hotel was a beautiful upgraded room, which I loved as well as the gorgeous newer rooms. It was about 750 square feet and was on the second floor of a multiunit villa facing ‘large, landscaped garden gardens’. Despite the hotel and room still felt brand-new, . Air conditioning was fantastic, and the bedding & decorations were sumptuous throughout.

The amenities at the Park Hyatt Marrakech are a spa-lover’s dream

CLINT HENDERSON/THE POINTS GUY

The Park Hyatt Marrakech is in a section of Marrachech, where some development has been underway at the Al Maaden complex (about 20 minutes drive from the old town) there’s so much to do at resort itself that I didn’t feel too isolated. Not to mention that there is some ongoing building here near the hotel, a (see below) ) , who has been.

I eat about $92 with tip, pretty expensive for Morocco but it’s an amazing meal well worth the money.

The breakfast buffet is a hot-and-cold, and there’s dozens of dishes for breakfast including many with distinctive Moroccan flair. Western options were also plentiful, including an omelet station.

My second night dinner was nice with a well-prepared burger and french fries, finished off by sorbet ($57 after tip) The menu is based on comfort food but has Mediterranean and Japanese cuisines (think seafood with a twist) elements. Bottom line

CLINT HENDERSON/THE POINTS GUY

I’m a world-renowned Park Hyatt favorite, there is another contender for that phraser. The Park Hyatt Marrakech is in my top five hotels worldwide and I’m looking forward to returning to see more of this amazing property.

Keeping the hotel in good condition, from being met by friendly staff at the main door to having a welcome drink is an important aspect of its service. One bellman even repaired my backpack’s zipper that was broken for me by a bellmann to fix it. All turns were accompanied by high-quality service.

A bit distant, while it may be less attractive to some as more central options like Le Meridien N’Fis (the next time I am in Marrakech), but the fact that one of my new favorite hotels will certainly be revisited.
