The Capital One Venture X Business is a good option for collecting rewards on all business related purchases and the best travel benefits – all for ‘fairly reasonable annual fee’.
If you’re a business owner looking for slash cards to make the most of multiple types of spending, there are no such card as simple on the market. But, you’ll want to know whether you would rather take advantage of bonus categories or get more business-related perks. You may be better off with another business card if you are, or should I.e.
Despite some good travel benefits and regular incomes, I think the Venture X Business is a great option for many of my friends. ************** 1-2**, **Card rating*.

Venture X Business: The basics
In Capital One’s best travel rewards business card, The Venture X Business is the highest-tier travel Rewards program with transferable Capital Two miles on purchases and solid benefits for cardholders. Unless you know the personal Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card, then the business version is basically the same in terms of income and benefits.
In addition, features of the Venture X Business card include airport lounge access and an annual $300 statement credit on tickets booked via Capital One business travel.
The card makes a minimum of 2 miles per dollar on most purchases, with two bonus categories that apply only to certain purchases made within the Capital One Business Travel portal.
The miles you earn to offset travel purchases at a 1 cent per mile value can be used as an example of how Capital One’s 15-plus transfer partners could help unlock more value.
These perks come for a $395 annual fee modest considering the card’s competition.

Venture X Business benefits
What is the long list of statement credits and extra benefits you expect from a for $395 annual fee? Yet for business travelers, the Venture X Business still offers great benefits to business people.
Annual travel credit and bonus miles
Both of these advantages effectively offset the annual fee for Venture X Business by themselves. Its annual travel credit reduce a true $95 annual fee, as it cuts 300 off any booking from Capital One Business Travel (the company’s business travel portal) to $9.95.
I’d recommend using this statement credit for boutique hotel stays, car rentals or flights.

The Venture X Business also offers 10,000 bonus miles per year, starting on your first anniversary. The value of these miles is $1855, according to TPG’s January 2026 valuations.
If you pair that value with the $300 travel credit, you get $485 in total value — more than offsets card’s annual fee.
Global Entry or TSA PreCheck application fee statement credit
The TSA PreCheck or Global Entry application fees are up to $120 for Venture X Business cardholders. This perk is still useful if you already have a card with this benefit. That’s because you can use this credit for anyone as long as you pay the fee with your Venture X Business.
Lounge access
The Venture X Business provides access to Capital One’s issuer lounge network to primary cardholders. These lounges are located at:
- Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW)
- Denver International Airport (DEN)

How to earn and use Capital One miles
Earning miles
In a straightforward income structure, on the Venture X Business, it’s not necessary for you to worry whether your purchase is in if they are considered pursuing – bonus-earning category. You’ll make.
Capital One Business Travel (18) * 10 miles per dollar spent on hotels and rental cars booked through CapitalOne Business Tours. Raise 5 per cent on TPG’s valuations of January 2026 (5% return)
- 5 miles per dollar spent on flights and vacation rentals purchased through Capital One Business Travel (9.25% return)
- 2 miles per dollar spent on all other purchases (3.7% return)
Yet when you spend a lot of your business capital in certain fields such as shipping and advertising, it’s not about the types of business-related bonuses that are being limited to what you think is most important for businesses.
Redeeming miles
When I send them to one of Capital One’s 15-plus airline and hotel partners you’ll get the best value out of your miles.
Nevertheless, you can also redeem your miles at just 1 cent per mile. For example, redemption examples include booking through Capital One Business Travel, redeeming miles as a statement credit to cover travel purchases and purchasing gift cards.

CARLY HELFAND/THE POINTS GUY
TPG director of points, miles and credit card content Carly Helfand once earned 100,000 Capital One miles to take $1,000 off a last-minute Airbnb stay.
Transferring miles
Most redeeming of the mileage would be to transfer them to a Capital One travel partner. A total of 15-plus hotel and airline programs are your choice Air Canada Aeroplan, Choice Privileges or Singapore KrisFlyer.
I like to use SkyTeam alliance partners when transferring my Capital One miles. I transferred 15,000 miles to Air France-KLM Flying Blue (and paid $35 in taxes and fees) last year on Delta Air Lines for a wedding from Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) in South Carolina to Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport(DTW) on two one-way domestic tickets that were issued.

Where the Venture X Business could fall short
The Venture X Business may not be the best choice for every business owner. Here are some downsides worth considering:
- Capital One’s issuer lounge footprint is smaller than some of its competitors.
- The $300 annual travel credit is limited to Capital One Business Travel purchases.
- There are no additional statement credits for making more money than the annual travel credit, but no further statements were added to make it possible. This may be a good thing for cardholders who hate “coupon-heavy” cards (e.g. ) and.
Unlike other businesses, there is no business-related bonus categories which may discourage business owners who often spend in one area (such as advertising or general travel).

But if you are more about simplicity and would rather not pay an annual fee that is sky-high, it’s wise to choose the Venture X Business as your travel rewards business card.
Venture X Business vs. Venture X Rewards
As mentioned above, it’s natural to compare the Venture X Business card with the personal Venture (Violta-X) card as both offer virtually the same benefits and earn rates.
On the other hand, there are two important considerations to weigh ‘It is one thing that does. In addition to itemized spending reports, the Venture X Business offers business benefits (including itemised spending reporting), and the balance of the card must be paid in full every month because it has no preset spending limit. But this is not the case with a personal Venture X.

When to apply for the Venture X Business
A new applicant can earn 150,000 bonus miles with the Capital One Venture X Business, which allows them to spend $30,000 on purchases in the first three months from account opening.
According to TPG’s January 2026 valuations, this welcome bonus is worth $2,775.
If a company is established and can organically spend the $30,000 needed to earn the full bonus, it’s best for its welcome bonus.
